Shadow Dwellers

Game Summary:

The player will make their way to the cave to fight the head Shadow Dweller. On their way, they should pick up mushrooms to help aid in the fighting.

Game Description:

Our game starts off with the player spawning on an island. They will first go through a quick tutorial on the beach that will show them how the mechanics work. After this, the player will make their way to the transition between the beach and the forest. Here, they will find a local tribe of villagers. The villagers can tell we want off the island and they offer to help, but first we have to reach the cave the kill the head Shadow Dweller. As the player travels through the game, they will have to go through a forest and fight off other Shadow Dwellers that he or she may run across. A key mechanic we added are PowerUps in the form of mushrooms. The player can find any of these 3 types of mushrooms throughout the game. As the player runs across one, they will pick it up and store it in their inventory. The player can use their mushrooms whenever they want.
